Oceane Siesta Key – New Luxury Condos
Preconstruction on the luxury condominiums and cabanas known as Oceane Siesta Key began Friday, February 24th, with site work and seawall expansion. Workers are adding 2 feet in height to the seawall and 152-linear-feet of seawall will be increased with the new cap. This phase is scheduled to be completed by March 2.
The superlatives for Oceane flow with the greatest of ease in the marketing material: “sets new standards of refined, resort style luxury,” “ultimate contemporary lifestyle,” “the idyllic ambiance of a small, private resort” and “an unprecedented scale of living accommodations.”
It would be tough to argue those points.
- The residences each total slightly more than 5,300 square feet, including 700 to 900 on front and back balconies.
- Each unit has four bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, and a “flex room” for whatever purpose the owner desires.
- Floor-to-ceiling, sliding-glass doors will open onto the back balcony with expansive views of the Gulf.
- Each unit comes with a private poolside cabana and a three-car, enclosed garage on the first floor.
Two years ago, the company completed the Infinity condo project on Longboat Key, also intimate with only 11 units — all sold before construction. Oceane “was driven by the success of Infinity,” he said.
Mark Sultana of the Sarasota architectural firm DSDG designed the coastal contemporary building. “When I was designing the units, I tried to create a condominium building that will feel like a single-family home,” he said.
Oceane, by Atlanta-based developer Crossgate Partners LLC, offers six Gulf-front condos priced between $3.8 million and $4.5 million. Located at 4740 Ocean Blvd., the four-story building will be next door to Siesta Towers Condos on Big Pass just north of Siesta Key Village.
The developer secured approval from FEMA and Sarasota County to enhance the seawall in order to reduce impacts from storm surges and lower insurance costs.
